Need help with axle identification

I picked up this axle today and I'm having trouble figuring out what it came out of. It's 5 0n 4.5" lug pattern and is marked "Ford" in the casting, it' 58" WMS to WMS and measures 10" from top cover bolt to bottom cover bolt. My best guess is an early Explorer 8.8, the spring perches aren't factory.









Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

8.8 out of something....need the tag info.

 

Tag is gone, I thought all 8.8s came with a flange rather than a yoke.
