need help with a desoto 1951...

im mauro from argentina and im trying to buy this de soto 1951, i saw it in a web, but its far away from home.
i need to know where are the body number or the chassis number if it has.

Look for a metal tag on the firewall above the steering column.

Hi

Most 50's MoPars had a number stamped on the outside of the frame behind the left rear wheel. This was often the original engine number. There should also be a tag on the driver's door frame. Jan in Ojai, CA.

 

FYI
that is a Desoto Diplomat. It is an export specific model that is built on a plymouth body and running gear with special export only Desoto badging. the model number should be a SP19 or SP20.

I have been trying to buy something desoto related out of Argentina for some time maybe you can help?
