I am working on my 1931 roadster, are there any tricks/secrets to removing the retainer pin and pedal shaft from the bell housing?

    Thanks for any help.

Thanks broken spoke. I should have been more specific. I was hoping someone may have figured out how to do this with out pulling the bell housing to get to the other side of the pin. I looked at a friends transmision this morning , which is out of the car. The pin has a head on the outside and seems to be peened over on the inside. If the transmission is out of the car you could simply grind off the peened section and drive the pin out. I am going to try the reverse and fish the pin out of the bell housing with a magnet.

Let me know if anyone has tried this with success.
