I bought this socket set at an estate sale and I need some help identifying exactly what its use was. Cannot find links from the numbers engraved on the sockets themselves, but I am sure some of you know exactly what these are. Thanks ahead of time!
Those are weatherhead sockets. They are used on the brass 90 degree weatherhead fittings that most people use a cresent wrench on and end up buggering up. A very handy find.
The Garage Journal is a sister site, and is pretty awesome for any tool related questions. http://garagejournal.com/
i had 2 sets snap on ones. i didn't use them a bunch but they are handy when you need them. they fetched a pretty penny when i sold them several years back, so good find.
