Glad you found the problem. Glad we could help.. my first clue was when you said your posi wasnt posi anylonger

you do know that a simple rear end rebuild could solve this issue instead of getting rid of the truck? too bad you didnt get on it when the rear end told you it was sick, tune yourself into your equipment..it will talk back,, if you listen

got a picture of this truck? how much you want for it?

  3. We need pictures! No, not of the parts- the whole truck! From your descriptions, it sounds like the truck is just plain worn out.

    I've got it!

MY 300 gets exactly three miles per gallon too.

I'll bet somebody slipped one of my 500+ HP 300s into your car.

Seriously, huge vacuum leak or jumped cam timing.

Yea if it was a chevy he'd be dragging his rear wheel and axle shaft out of a ditch on the side of the road somewhere.:D

Methinks that you should wipe those feathers off of around your mouth. You been bullshitting these poor people long enough and the gig is up.

Four months ago, you rebuilt the 300-six engine and added a new transmission, maybe a five or six speed, but because the truck is tied to a big over-weight trailer, your gas mileage sucks (you would too!). You screwed the rear end up, that's why one side pulls and the other doesn't. Consequently, your sitting there in your briar patch in Ohio with one foot nailed to the floor and your going around in circles. You had nothing to do today until game time, so you thought that you would let the boys on the board scratch their gray-matter and entertain you.

Now tell me, I'm right, say sorry to the boys and go have a beer and watch the game. DONE!

Yep' If you filled it last night and ran out of gas today,I'd suspect that the neighbor kid figured out how to use an Oklahoma credit card.

If you filled it and then drove the 47 miles and ran out of gas I'd suspect a bad vacuum advance, park brake left on or partially on, sticking float among other things.

Hears a picture of my Ford six, can you rebuild it the same way as yours.

But on the other hand my BBC burns about a gallon and a quarter every 1/4 mile.
