Technical NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THIS FORD ? SHIFTER

  4. I don't remember seeing a short straight T handle shiftier in Fords,it might have been but I can't place it,I do remember a friend had a automatic 442 that had a short T handle that didn't have any bend to it. HRP
     

  5. Boneyard probably has it right, although it could be give or take a year. Definitely a Ford shifter, they built multiple variations of this design from the mid-'60s into the '80s. The green dot makes this a 'Cruisomatic' shifter (precursor to the 'select shift') that was only used '64-66.

    Simple in design and can be adapted to almost any 3 speed transamatic automission. I would have guessed Pinto/Bobcat, but since I'm not really a "Ford guy", it would just be a guess. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
