Need help identifying this Deuce barn find.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fordnutz, Sep 23, 2009.

  1. Found in Washinton State by a friend. Has 64 black Cali plates on it. Anyone know the car. Who built it, where is it from. Any history. The Sir Duce on the cowl and the decals may hold the clue. Pat.

Can't help you with identifying it but from the looks of the shed it was in it's a good thing it didn't sit there any longer. A few more winters and all that would be left would be an iron oxide stain on the ground. Post more pictures of the restoration/rodification if you can. The potential is there, just needs gentle massaging to have a real winner.

The "logo" on the cowl of the cane and top hat looks very much like the "DUKES" Car Club from Spokane WA. (The oldest car club in WA). Maybe Chris can chime in on this one.

Um...any way you can start with who owned it where it was found?? At least a property reverse search for a name. Someone has to know...

  22. Judging by the vines and all the moss, I would say thats a west side find, not east side! Were was it found? I surprised it's not rustier!

I think those barn pics were taken in the Marysville/ Arlington area and these were taken after all of the sticker bushes surrounding it were cut down. Last time I saw it it belonged to Chuck that just sold the 34 roadster listed as just found and purchased. Dave

    Jeeez! Wahat a find.
How cool would it be to drop that body (stickers, dirt, patina and all) onto a running traditional chassis, and cruise through a show! Don't stop to answer questions-just cruise through!

  28. Whatever, These things seem to be happening everyday lately! Seriously; give us a little bit more factual information and we might not be so glib.
