Hot Rods need help id/ naming parts and years they are form

I need help id/ naming parts and years they are form.

I'd like to figure out the "correct" name of parts ( I am just calling them chevy nose emblems)

I'd also like to know about what years they fit and what there worth if I list for sale or trade

any help would be appreciated

 

The top one is for a ‘58 Chevy 6-cyl truck. The one on the bottom is for a ‘57 V8 truck.

and they'd be worth more if they weren't pitted.

you can look on ebay at completed auctions to find values.

 

Oh, the correct name would be hood emblem, I think. What are they worth? In that shape, not much really. Better to hang them on the wall.

here's an excerpt from the 1957 chevy parts book, the 8.055 group is hood emblems and ornaments. Have fun.... (yes, the second to last column on the right is list price)
