that's a strange bell! Having the clutch fork opening on the right sure sounds like some sort of bellhousing that was used in a delivery truck with right side steering. Probably some sort of early six cylinder bell housing.

  3. That bell is for a hydraulic clutch only, slave cylinder was mounted on right side.

  4. its passenger side shift fork same as 60-66 chevy truck with hydrolic clutch

  5. What engine are you trying to attach this bellhousing to?

On my home computer I have pics of a V-8 version, will have to post later.

Gotta be a six banger--look where the starter boss is. (never dealt with 6s, but I know that's not the right spot for a V8)

How 'bout posting a pic of the engine block side of the bell?

  11. I,d pass on that one. The bellhousing on my big block 57 came off of a late 70,s or early 80,s Chevy dump truck with a 350 in it. Hydraulic clutch release made installation the cats ass. No Z bar to be in the way of the headers.Big housing for the big clutch was a bonus also! Should be plenty of them in truck boneyards....
