Doing my first hot rod build. I don't know how I should do my clutch and Brake pedals. I have a set a 40 pedals, don't like the angle mount. Been told to try F1 pedal. Should I use a Z-bar for the clutch? does anyone have any pictures? I want to use mechincal clutch.

Don't know if this will help you out at all, but here are 2 pics of the F-1 pedal assembly I put in an F-1 crossmember in an "A" frame with a flathead V8. I used the stock Ford master cylinder. The clutch rod pushes forward which may not work in your case. Regards, Dave.

Thanks AV8, I like the like the way your set up looks. Does anyone have pics of stock ford pedals with chevy trans? Can I pull the fork straight back or will it be to stiff or do I need the z-bar?
