Need a trimmer - Aussie request

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by X38, Sep 28, 2008.

  1. Needs to be in the Brisbane area, needs to 'understand.' etc etc.

The car's in Brisbane and my usual go to guy - Flatattack - here in Sydney may not be able to swing it. So, who's up there?

The car is the roadster in the album section of my profile.

  2. Tony- There's always "Mangus"

  3. Ha ha, he's a nice guy, does he do house calls?

  4. BTW Tony- Ya done anything on the Sloper??

Wish I knew, but hey, I have a sewing machine no experience, a ruler and a pair of scissors..... How much harder can it be than sewing up people?
At least cars dint scream out in pain, though I guess car owners can.........
    Doc.

What part of Brisbane is the car in

  9. Hi Paul, the location in the Brisbane area doesn't matter but the work of the trimmer does. I'll need to see their work etc before anything can happen. Give me some clues.

    Two possibles

The trim shop at Capalabah that did Simon Telfords Custom EJ.
Can not think of their name, but will get it for you.

And Beenleigh Trim, Robbie has done work for me over the last ten years.
Can and will do everything from repairs to show quality jobs.

If you have last years SM Hot Rod Annual, have a look at Kev Brittons 36 Roadster.

  11. Thanks Paul. I've met Kev actually. My good mate at Automotive Harnesses did the wiring. I'll look 'em up.

Annvid is the one at Capalaba, a biggish place.

    Your mate does nice work.
And Kev did the machining for me on all the custom designed parts I put into Pete Elliots 37.
