Technical need a good flathead man

    what ford v8 flathead had a 3in bore- i have couple sets of flathead pistons c81a6199 br 3in plus .0025-
    cant find a 3in bore anywhere?? any help appreciated thanks don-pistons have ford logo-c81 and made in Canada-

    I'm going to guess that if measured very carefully, they will measure 3-1/16"

    All the 221 engines have a 3 1/6 bore. The 239 and later Mercury 255 had a bore of 3 3/16. The prefix of C81A, breaks down to C- Canada, 81- 38, 85 hp, and A is for passenger car.
