    I did the FeatherFill dry with 80, then 120. Then two double wet coats of 2K, DA with 220, then I blocked it with 220 wet. It looks laser straight, I found a couple spots that’ll be a little icing (some sanding scratches down on the Botox the rear pan), I’ll hit those this afternoon and wet coat of 2K tomorrow. Then I’ll guide coat it, 36o then 499 wet. I’d like to get it in color this week and set the body back on.

    Now, don't go on and gimme a big head! ;) I'm forcing myself to work on it, wet sanding all of a sudden has become an onerous chore. I used to think it was fun, those days are gone...

    I have a days worth of cleaning and temporary paint boot to make, so maybe next week. Otherwise it’ll set until spring, we have winter activity planned.

    I have periods where I seem to have a deep reserve of pent up sexual energy, which, for my wife's well being, I turn into other activities. Because, you know, I'm thoughtful that way...

  21. Brian, the roadster looks great!:cool:
    Please tell us about your painting setup;
    • Compressor, gun, etc.
    • Do you just spray in the garage without any kind of homemade booth or?
    • What kind of paint?

    Guess what Brian left hanging on the wall and didn’t get ready for color? As long as I was getting the grill shell prepped I did the gas tank and fixed a spot on the deck lid inner panel. My paint booth works great, judging by how black the furnace filter in the exhaust fan got.
