no luck on the SEARCH...has anyone posted an install with pics on national chevys dual master conversion for a 54 chevy car...no instructions any help appreciated......thanks......
Check over at chevytalk.com and go to the 49-54 chevy car subforum!! Those guys over there, will be able to help. They are very knowagable on the 49-54 chevys, and a great bunch of people!! Shadetree
The guy to talk to at national chevy is Ed, he's pretty good but only takes calls after lunch.. Gut out the old master and bolt in the new bracket behind the gutted master. Install the pushrod on the pedal then add the new master to the new bracket ya bolted to the chassis... It's pretty simple to do. Cut a new hole in the floor to fill it up.. I did this 2-3 years ago and never had any problems! Be sure to bench bleed the new master cylinder first.
Look at my photobucket page. Made my own mount. I used a early Vette M/C. Not a hard project at all. Todd
do you have one already? is it an under the floor type? power or not? not familiar with National Chevy stuff.
