  6. Kevin:

The tach and sending unit look killer. Great build.

We have supplied parts for a bunch of HAMBer's and get a kick out see them used.

    Thanks for the mention!

Your old tach will be going to good use. We are going to build a channeled "A" roadster this fall.

That is awesome. Kevin. . I still remember the first ride in a chopped Model A coupe.

I even went on with you.. Cruising up and down main street Ventura.. Really cool to see you getting your car coming together with all the best parts you have collected.

    Keep it up

    hope to see you soon

Very nice, keep the updates coming. I liked the way you fabricated you fuel tank mounts, it looks like they clamp like the eelco tanks did.

Fantastic build, from the components to the craftsmanship.

That said, I hate to see those cafeteria-style chairs used without a tube frame supporting the perimeter. If the belts are just laid over the edge of the seat, your body weight moving will rip the belts right through those seats in a crash, loosening you up as they go. This result can be seen in the crash of the (former B&C) Willys in the Jackson Bros video. Alternately, cut slots through the sides so the belts pass over your hips more closely. I'd hate to cut on them though.

I know you have a ways to go, so I presume you do have this in mind and have just not gotten to it yet, but I had to mention it just in case, or perhaps for someone else. I can be a bit of a Mr. Safety sometimes.

    Those seats are fantastic though!

  14. Kev,
You think it might be running by the Primer Nats?

  15. Toymaker........See you at Dragfest. It will just be an unfinished roller but I'm taking it anyway.

I Drag.....Thanks for pointing that out. I'm a fan of safety too.

Bad Bob....That's a big fat maybe! I want to say yes and I will try to make it a driver before the Primer Nat's but I kinda doubt it. Deadlines don't seem to work for me.I have other things I need to work on too.

  18. ................ and that's why we hate him !! ;) :D Seriously Kevin, looks great. I love the extra effort you put into everything, including finding a tag frame with a little Willys on it !!
