I have a half gallon of Valspar HS35 2K primer and would like to use it up, can I spray nason ful-thane topcoat over the Valspar 2K primer?
The time line for Valspar top coat over Valspar 2K is 1 hour to 24 hrs without sanding to form a chemical bond, where might I be as for the time on nason ful-thane over Valspar 2K primer?
    thanks nick c

The time line you mention is for use as a sealer.
Will you be using the primer as a sealer or primer surfacer?

I primerd it 8 yrs ago and used 4:1:1 surfacer, Would like to lite sand and use 1 coat 4:1:2 sealer, will do what you suggest.
    thanks

I would lean toward a thorough rather than lite sanding with 600 grit wet to provide tooth for the sealer without showing sand scratches.
