  1. Well, it's that time again. It's the BIG ONE!
New giant building this year (no more 5 separate), but vendor setup may be a cluster with only a few entry points.

  2. Only one building this time? So...I won't get lost again! o_O

  3. Oh yeah,,,I always try to make Stones River,,,,it should be great as usual.

The new venue. Expo bldgs. 1-2-3
    What could possibly go wrong?

  5. Same parking lots as usual?

  6. Not sure on the parking lots. I believe the new building is below the old ones in the old unused lower lot. Don't have any info in the vendor packet.

  15. Some left over Model A parts, 32 odds and ends, a whole tub of 55-57 Chevy truck stuff, a set of louvered hood side panels and one piece top, 40 brakes, Austin Healey bucket seats with like new upholstery, lots more.

Looking for something to make a floating grille for my Merc, out of Windsor, Kaiser grille trim parts. I'm 50/50 on if I'll make the trip or not.

What color on seats? 32 3w by chance

  23. Well, today was set up day for vendors. What a difficult morning!

One entrance and check in as usual but a long line just to get to the new buildings. I was in bldg A, so the single line wrapped around the others just to get to the door closest to your space. Then you had to unload at the curb, carry stuff down a grassy slope to the sidewalk, then carry to your space inside. Tomorrow, when everybody leaves at one time should be fun! FUBAB.

It is actually in three big connected buildings so that's better(?) this year.

Totally sold out, so that's good.
Covered and open outside spaces were easy to access. If weather's crap that's not good.
    Sales report tomorrow.

If you get this,I'm very interested in seats.

  28. See me tomorrow. Space A17. on a corner. I don't have a pic on my phone to send tonight. They're pretty nice, had them for a 27 roadster that I sold. Includes the metal bottom frames. What time are you getting there?

  29. Well, there's not much to report as my buddy canceled and I was stuck in my spot all day.
The only time I was able to get around was after setup on Saturday when most vendors had covered up for the day.

My best score was 3. big logo 97's for $5 each. Yep, $15!!!
A new Mallory crab cap and rotor for $20
And a NEW 32 deck lid handle for FREE.
On the positive side, sales were pretty good. $1100.

It was good to talk to all of you who stopped by.
Please share your treasures if you would like to.

  30. Well, I found what I came after. I bought a set of early Corvette wheels, only to find out when I got them home that they won't clear my brake rotors..:( Oh well, I will either try to resale them at a swap meet or hold on to them hoping to get a C1 Corvette later.
It was good to meet you hotrodA. Good talking with you and putting a face to a member.
I think this swap meet at the fairgrounds was the biggest and best that I have been to there so far. Just wishing parking was better. It took me 20 minutes to get parked from the interstate exit.
