I'm here with my 41 Plymouth. Forecast calls for rain for most of tomorrow, sadly. Saturday will be cooler, however, you might know I ditched the one pair of long jeans I had in my bag before I left. :(

I was going to go Friday as a spectator which is still $25 plus parking.
If I take one of the cars,it,s $100 as I have to join goodguys
But if it supposed to rain tomorrow,I might stay home
If it like any of the goodguys show.Early Fords are in a minority and late model crap is everywhere

I only saw 3 cars headed up I65 today when I was coming back south, a 47-48 Ford coupe being driven, and two 32’s, a 3 window and a Tudor sedan, both on trailers. Usually I start seeing them on Tuesday or Wednesday going up, but these three were the first ones I’ve seen all week. Not that that means anything, just my observation....

Talked to a couple of the Jasper CARS guys last Saturday, a few of them are going. Can’t are it myself, maybe one of these days.....

I plan on being there Friday and Saturday in my '34 Chevy coupe. Looking like a crappy weekend weather wise.

  13. My son and I are thinking about going Saturday as spectators. After carrying mail in the rain for 30 years, I am not too fond of walking around in it for fun so I will pass on Friday.

Good Guy's membership is $40 per year. Advance event registration is $45 (at the event is more). I'm not saying it isn't a significant amount, but it is pretty reasonable for the enjoyment I get over the weekend. So many cool cars and trucks. Friends. Hotel parking lot parties. I'm looking forward to Columbus!

  18. $75 for non members.
But I enjoyed cruising the bus.
The OD works great. I was having to back off of 80mph. Need to balance the rears.
    I think I got 7 mpg.
I got the kid and one of his friends with us. I’m not leaving him any cash when I leave the planet. I’m just enjoying their inheritance.

Have fun and take lots of photos, we are hot rod show photo starved around here.

If you have two people and a couple of kids along parking and going though the spectator gate can cost as much as entering the car and paying for the years membership that gets you their magazine for a year.

Need one of those old fart bumper stickers that says "I'm spending my kids inheritance".

I think membership is only 45 per year and you get the magazine, which is decent.
