I saw that body on a trailer when leaving Knoxville and the first comment out of my mouth was why would someone waste the gas and effor to put it on a trailer.. It was possibly the worse body I had ever seen.

well the drivers side garnish molding did look in pretty good shape! but i don't know why they left it on it when it was a racey type car

 

At Goodguys a few years back a guy had a 34 Victoria body he wanted $6500for. It was a body only and it looked like someone had rolled the thing down a mountain. There wasn't a remotely straight panel on it anywhere, it was totaly mangled. I wouldn't have given him $65 for it. He took it back home.
I see stuff like that and that 32 and I appreciate my T coupe body more. Thought I paid too much but not anymore.

Yeah, when they sold for $50.00 it was kind of a no brainer. I called the guy that bought them, the first time. I could never get price out of him he was in the process of selling them. Supposedly to a vintage dirt track collector. I got the feeling he thought they were made of gold, so I never pursued it.

Both those cars were ROUGH as hell!! Would have been cool to get them since they were local cars. I wouldn't pay much for them....I don't give shit if they are 32 Fords!!! They're rough..... and as far as I know the the Mitchell track in the big city of Livingston ain't to famous..... hell, most of the people that live here don't even know about it. History????
