I recently bought this 36 Nash speedo from e1956v here on the H.A.M.B. (www.speedoservice.com), I could not be any happier with the unit and nice to do business with nice people. H.A.M.B. classified ads are the best. Anyway, here is a shot of it installed in my 28 coupster.
Looks good. I also have had good dealings with Rusty @e1956v here on the HAMB. He sold me a NOS speedo and face plate for my '54 Ranch Wagon. He went and checked it all out before shipping it because as he put it, it had been sitting on the shelf for a while. He also made up a cable to mate the speedo with the AOD trans that I'm installing in the wagon. In addition, the speedo in my '39 p/u gave up the ghost not that long ago. Once again Rusty got things sorted. If you need speedometer work I highly recommend him. JMO.
Thanks for the kind words guy’s. That engine turned gauge panel looks fantastic @USMercUte. It looks like it was made for the Nash speedometer. Did you make it up yourself?
The dash is a40 Ford pickup grafted to a Model A top. Second glove box door where the 40 instrument panel was, is now hiding the fuse panel. The 40 dash already had the flat area on the bottom so the 5" speedo was a natural. Yes, I did fabricate and engine turn the panel from 3/16 aluminum. Thanks for your interest, John
