  1. nash35.jpg nash23.jpg nash24.jpg nash25.jpg nash26.jpg nash27.jpg nash28.jpg nash29.jpg nash30.jpg nash31.jpg nash32.jpg nash33.jpg nash34.jpg nash111.jpg Spent a great morning with 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. Impressive man, 86 years old and still runs a 100+ acre farm and restores Nashes, Ramblers and John Deere tractors. Ken had just cut a hay field the night before..got in at 9:30pm.
Never saw an E-shift Rambler(3 on tree NO clutch) before but I did today....one with 9,000 miles and in excellent condition. Never saw a Nash Healy in person but there it was...beautiful car. Never saw a Nash Woodie that was a camp wagon with built in tent, bed add ons from the factory...Has to be one of the finest Nash collections in the world. So many Ramblers and John Deere tractors that were all in showroom condition. This fine old gentleman does it all and he doesn't have any fancy machine shop with CNC machines..Paints outside after it rains and uses a buzzbox to fix 'em up. We all sure got a lesson in talent today. We were able to buy them some lunch for giving us the honor of seeing their fine collection...what a great day to be a car nut.

My heart is pounding out of my chest! Nash & Ramblers are 2nd only to my wife. That is an incredible collection. I have 8...nothing like that, nothing like condition either.

  5. I have only seen 1 other 1946-48 Nash convertible. They were rare back then, and much more rare today. They would make a fine custom.

It would be fantastic to preserve it, keeping original as possible.

Man, there's some Beautiful machines right there. Love the signage and the other little trinkets that can be seen. This is what you can do if you have the passion for something and this couple (yes, I include the Missus) is a Great representation of their time. I'm sure they're some great stories about this collection and I'm pretty sure that staying busy keeps them both young. Thank You, Carp

Looks like quite a collection from the Nash/Rambler Company. Never was a fan of those cars but I can always appreciate fine restorations. He has some rare cars there. Great to see those folks are still so active and in good health. Thanks for the pictures!!

  16. This is an awesome thread, and story.
I ' m wondering if anyone else sees a similarity between the Nash and GM cars of the late 40's? Never noticed it before.

Wow, very nice. Some of my family history had ties to Nash/Rambler, from working at the plant to selling cars. My grandfather owned a few Ramblers.

What a great collection, I'd love to see it in person! Were there many prewar cars? Didn't spot many in the photos. Also didn't spot my all time favorite, the 57 Rambler Rebel.
