Everything I've owed has been called a "piece of shit" at one time or another. If I road in it or on it....started it with a key or pulled a rope....pedaled it or pushed it, from hotrods to work trucks, lawn mower's or chainsaws right down to the first stingray bike I tore apart to "make it better" back in '68.....they were all called "piece of shit" at one time or another.

  4. If you look closely on the right side of the tailgate you see the name "Lucy" When we bought the '56 F-100 3 years ago the previous owners personalized plate was "Lou's 56" so took that name and changed it to "Lucy"

Had the Texas plate "ST IRON" on a few rides. Some folks say it means Street Iron and some say St. Iron. Dunno...

My 63 Dodge is my "Fiery Lady" (cause she's sure got a temper when things go wrong)
My 55 desoto S/W is "8's enuff"( cause its got 8 cylinders)
And I'm thinking of a name for my 39 Desoto coupe - keep coming back to an old name I used back in the 70;s "Humbug" after a walt disney saying in one of the cartoons

Unibody has been named "fools paradise" after the previous owner and all their wonderful work on the truck that i've had to fix.
That and I'm a huge Buddy Holly fan.

Well, my wife and daughter seem to like "Stellaluna."

As for me, I'm still pretty stuck on "Russell Chevrolet." "Rusty Chevy" for short.

  23. My truck originally was called Elaine from the original builder's wife's name in the glove box. Trick caught fire and burned shortly thereafter. Been rebuilding it for the last two years. Name now will be The Phoenix.

I hope all of you guys that took the time to badmouth this thread are still James Dean fans, you know James Dean, the coolest dude that ever lived. etc. The car he was killed in was called "Little Bastard", had it painted on the car's deck lid. He must have been another misguided soul. PS - the Breeze is a great looking car.

  25. I've named my '51 Chevy wagon "Woodrow" for the faux wood on his exterior.

BUC - It stands for, "Big Ugly Car." The K at the end of BUC is silent and invisible.
