I believe in the preservation of all vintage tin, so when a cousin of mine told me that he had found an old firewall in the woods behind his house, he gave me a call. Naturally; I was more than happy to pick it up, and it now adorns my garage wall. The problem is, I have no idea what it is. It is clearly not Ford. The panel has a tag that reads EW-E, followed by 749 HELP
Tag is Studebaker. If I can find my book I'll look it up. Edit: EW = 1927 Studebaker Commander; E is probably the body style; 749 is the body number.
Thanks RustyNewYorker for the quick response. Long Live the HAMB, and the answers to impossible questions in record time.
