Where can I find more information about the National Automobile Association? I'm curious which states were included in the Western States Auto Club. I'm also curious about the vintage and anything else I can learn. All I know is that this badge exists. Everything else remains a mystery.

There have been at least three National Automobile Associations:
1904-? One of the earliest auto clubs, based in Boston, it was strong at least into the 1920s.
1917-8 Wilson & Valrez, organizers. Omaha Auto Club warned it was a scam.
1922-? Ohio, Illinois & Indiana state associations seceded from the AAA to form a NAA.

The Western States Auto Club was a Missouri for-profit corporation, but I wasn't able to find its dates. Here's a 1938 ad from a Missouri garage:

I just realized this tow truck in my possession has the same red white and blue emblem. The tow truck dates from 1954.

Man, I had one of those diecast tow trucks as a kid. I heard they are worth over a grand now! Gary
