Mystery rod spotted in So. Minn.

Driving east on I-90 in Minnesota Saturday noonish and spot this roadster being trailered (hiss) westbound. Model A stlye front, full hood,no fenders, BUT rear end is narrowed 49/50 Ford? It appeared to be a finished car. Just a teaser glimpse, so I've been wondering if anybody here knows anything more about it ?

 

I believe I've gone blind. This was suppose to have happened when I was a teen.LOL

 

Another freak Mn. snowstorm! They can happen anytime.

 

So, O K, give just one more glimpse. I blinked and missed the first one.

i live in southern Minnesota and i have no knowledge of the car around here. on an interstate like I-90 it could of been from anywhere....Wisconsin , Illinois or even farther east

every hot rodder i know from southern Minnesota was at Btt50's this weekend , so if it was on the move on Saturday i'm guessing it had to be from out of state

 

I saw it at the registration hotel on Thursday. VERY neat piece. It had a Chevy 6cyl, a parallel leaf chassis, deuce grill, 30-31 A cowl, a bunch of engine turned aluminum panels and other neat details too.

 

Sounds like a really nice rod. I wish I could have seen it.

There's one of the threads of photo's from the event that had a couple of pics of it. That's the bad part about people starting their own threads of photo's from events, I have no idea which one it was on!
