Picked this door up yesterday. Any ideas? Thinking an old hearse maybe...
37 inches wide
The four hinges are a big clue. Can you please post a full on shot so we can see the reveal around the window easier?
IS IT ALL STEEL??..or wood inside...whippet has four hinges.lots of wood....much similar doors...might be willys in origin...maybe willys knight??
There is some inside. Ill get a couple more photos up tomorrow. Thanks
And more photos.
That interior door handle looks SOOO familiar...
Reminds me a lot of a 29 Lincoln but the 4th hinge isn't right.
Looks to be General Motors related with all of that wood and that interior door handle design.
Similar to Auburn, but the mounting escutcheon is different.
If you don't have luck here, try the AACA "What is it?" Forum, you'll get an answer real quick.
Yea, I think it's off a Dodge.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
No wood inside the Dodge doors in that era. No real wood interior trim, either. No Dodge of that era had four hinges, I don't believe.
the interior door handle looks alot like late 20's cadillac
the same handle is on ebay right now
1927 and 1928 Cadillacs had those handles.
Thanks Jan. I checked Google images for photos of Cadillac, REO, Graham and no luck. 28 Graham truck had 4 hinges but the door was different. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.
