Making headway. Bob has been working on the dash a little more as the ends have been welded in and rough finished. Also, I didn't want anything sticking out of the face of the dash besides the gauge panel, so he mounted all of the switches underneath it in a cool little removable panel he came up with. @da34guy turned me onto that clean and cool look years ago. The bolts you see will be replaced with stainless button heads up final assembly. The stereo will be mounted up and under the dash. You shouldn't be able to see it unless seated in the car. It's a weatherproof motorcycle unit with FM, USB and smartphone connections. It's supposed to be 600 watts (doubtful, I've done a LOT of car audio) and four speakers. As long as it's loud enough to hear at 80 MPH we'll be good. Speakers will be mounted under the dash out of sight. My son Austin and I mounted the Gennie Shifter shifter and emergency brake this afternoon. Guys, if you haven't looked at Gennie in a while you need to. Absolutely EXCELLENT quality and customer service! I won't be buying Lokar anymore. That's all for today. Hope y'all had a great weekend!
