Still got a bit more to do yet  but nearly there, I must admit its looking pretty cool I reckon.
Yes it's only 4 degrees during the day so not much done on the willys, hoping with a bit of luck to get body painted over the new year.

    Cheers for chiming in.

Love the windows but I was curious to know if the acrylic scratches easily?

Doesn't seem to and its cheap enough to replace, I did try perspex but that scratches very easily.

Got a call from the chrome plater today to come and collect my xmas pressie :D
He had plated all my front springs, a few small parts and finished off my rollcage, If its not raining tomorrow i will put the cage together for a pic.

Looks great, very hard to get even remotely good chrome work done here in Aus these days, because of enviro laws and general poor workmanship and lack of care!
Love the updates you'll be lifting those fronts before too long at this rate!

I'm pretty lucky to have a mate with a chrome shop, I get very good rates off him but still have to pay.
The cage would of worked out fairly expensive as its a lot to polish so I polished it all myself to keep the cost down, final cost for the cage was £250 ($400)
It was a real bitch to polish as the parts are long and pretty heavy but I'm real happy how it looks.

Yes the powers that be are trying to shut down our chrome shops too, there are very few left in England these days.

Nice to get back into the workshop today and work off all the festive food
Had to get my cage trial fitted together so it all went together easily as there is no room in the ar for fiddling around, had to sand the slip joints slightly and clear all the tapped holes out, There is a lot of copper, nickel & chrome on it for sure.
