It worked OK, it wore out quicker than what I thought it would. But if it's larger flat areas, it's perfect, not aggressive, doesn't leave a deep scratch like a wire brush. So it's a toss up I guess. So if you want to do the bottom side of your car, I think it's great for that, if you want to do small things stick with the wire brush. Sent from my SM-N920V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice find, great score! My project is a '52 Chevy panel but I really love the pre-war stuff. You're on my watch list.
Hey, Paint Guru; "One of my friends said to start having paint classes and make people work on it!" Absolutely not! You ALLOW them to gain skill(s) (guided by you in class) by hands-on-practice on the truck. . I can also see a long detailed write-up on the HAMB, & later the full video version on DVD, of "How to do paint properly: everything from type to color selection/consideration to application & final-finish" AKA :"How to do paint at home & stay out of Paint-Jail w/o going broke" . The idea of either brokering or operating a good body shop (or 2, or more ), is actually a good one. Sounds like a franchise-idea being born. Since your wife is busy, guess the next in line are the kids? . Do like & appreciate the paint related info you put on here. Thanks so far. Marcus...
