So last week I flew into Southern California to be a groomsman in a friends wedding. Got there Wednesday afternoon for the rehersal, wedding Friday, and fly back Saturday. So since I had one free day I decided to head up to see some other friends, who happen to not be home. So since they live around the corner from Mooneyes I figured I'd head over there and pickup a few new shirts since mine are getting a little abused. When I got there got to talk to Bob working the counter and offered me the chance to look around and check out the machine shop. As soon as I got out to the machine shop I meet Darren who took the time to give me a full tour of the grounds. What a couple of great guys, and Darren really knows the history of the place. Heres a couple of picks I tok with my phone. Now I gotta go get ready for the Round-Up
With any luck I might get to visit this year, missed out a couple of years back but was fortunate enough to see the team at Bakersfield. As you say they're all great guys
I really like the wooden t-shirts with the big ass buttons on them hanging in the rack. You think those come in an X-Large?
my last visit was in 1983, the guys then were helpful and gave me a good deal on some "old" stuff. Dean remembered what all those tanks were made for or the "mistake" that got them left behind.
