  14. My Grandparents bought one of those around 1956 or so but it was ALUMINUM not Stainless. I thought they were all Aluminum. I still have the Color Wheel that they had for it but we took the tree to the dump in 1971

    I have one from Walmart. It's all tinsel and silver. Got it 3 years ago. Only aluminum ones I find are over priced for a bunch shredded beer cans.:D

    I had a run in with a table saw back in Sept. and had a nice x-ray of the 1/8th" blade kerf going through bone in my left index finger. I was lucky I didn't loose anything.
    Really cool tree too !!! Love the Owl ornament.

    The rods are aluminum the bristles are stainless , It shorts out the Lionel train when it sheds !!!!

    Yea you ever try to assemble a 57 year old tree :D ? It takes a couple of days let alone the Lionel train ! LOL

  30. I threw the old aluminum tree away a few years ago,,I got tired of being cut up just putting the damn thing together. HRP
