Nads my friend, Log time no see, it's great to see that you are alive & kicking, love the T. HRP
Some Daimler Hemi powered Ts from the U.K. from back in the day.
^^^Yours is 'way more proportioned (and 'finished'), Nads. The 'flow' is the thing...
Been watching the build on Instagram... super neat! It has stirred an interest in T's again.
It’s a tiny engine that’s easily swamped visually. I shortened the frame horns after the firewall about four inches. The only thing I’m kind of not happy with is the width of the rear end. Unfortunately the 10 bolt has tapered axles and is difficult to narrow. I wish I had thought ahead, but it was $50 and I just bought it.
Nads, My wife's Minor has a shortened 10bolt posi and Geoff Hauser got me a pair of Moser shafts made in the states. Including Geoff's small mark up, shipping, import and VAT they came to about £400.00.
P.S. Cool MK1 wagon.
Nice build and you got me for a while until I realized you weren't in Oz... A Zodi Farnham estate in the US, that keeps everyone confused I bet.
It's actually a Mk1 Consul estate. A 1956, the only LHD one know to exist. And yeah, hardly anyone knows what it is.
Right - they all look the same from the rear lol. That IS rare and there weren't many RHD ones to begin with
I like the way you mounted the master cylinder. Do you think a support near the center of the pushrod to keep it from flexing, in a panic stop situation? You think like me, figure it out instead of buying cookie cutter parts. Love the Edsel grill!!
it is very long. That's an idea
Here’s the insert I made for the grille, tried it without the horseshoe at first, but I like it with better.
You gonna put a hitch on it to pull that awesome boat?
I'm loving that grille man!
What’s your IG handle?
There is no way in heck that thing could pull it and the trailer. I have a ‘59 El Camino with a 400 small block that can.
Cool. Just started following. I like being able to cheat and skip ahead to it driving!
They are the perfect size, shape, and position for this little rod's nose. Anything else would look weird. Great job!
This will be its name, my cartoonist friend Lluis Fuzzhound from Australia drew this.
Ha Ha that's brilliant, Nads.
Wow the pink 59 el camino I remember seeing you post that years ago so awesome. Love the little t the flake and chrome slot wheels are killer. Thanks for posting!!
Wait....who doesn't want an extra carport ?!?!?!
Love a good Daimler Hemi. Here’s mine it’s the 276ci
Brilliant, the big ones are so rare
Brilliant! There should be more 60's style rods built!
Everytime you post a pic there's another cool car/boat/whatever in the background. What a collection.
I have got a couple of articles on Damlier V8 enginge builds if you would like me to post.
Not my place, but I would like to see them.
It's been awhile. Love the Carpor_T. Still living at the estate in Florida?
I'd love to see them
