Jay gets traditional rods and knows a ton of history on just about everything posted here. I can't wait to read some blogs posted on JalopyJournal.com.

Great to see you here Jay.

Jay...just be careful.....you've told us too many good stories! :)

We've seen Jay out in his 32 for no reason other than to just drive it.....how cool is that.

  10. Saw your coupe at Jalopyrama. I've been around this hobby since the 50's and don't think I've seen those Thickstun covers on that flathead before. Might be a good subject to expound on?

    Congrats Jay!

  15. To have worked with Pat and the others must be very kool.
His son just compleated the Sam Barris rebuild ( Merc ) and what a job.
I credit Pat with the rebirth of Kustoms in the early 80,s not only that but Mr.Sharps
respect of our car history most of might have been lost. it was a sad day when Pat left RC> indeed.

Wow. Glad to hear it Jay! Hope you will inspire a few more of us here...those that don't (or won't) pay 15 bucks for TRJ will be blessed by your gift. Maybe we'll even learn something... imagine that.

It was the Kinmont Story that made me finally subscribe to TRJ, and now there's no going back. It's all your fault, so I hope you keep contributing.

Spoke with you on the phone years ago about SW's and such, and am glad you now decided to become more active on the HAMB.

  28. Wow Jay, it's good to see that pic of your old 40. Brings back memories. We met talking about 40 fords at the Big M years ago if I remember correctly. Always liked that coupe!

Welcome Jay, you come highly recomended and well credentialed.
Unfortunately (for me it seems) I don't know your work, however I look forward to reading your TJJ contributions.
Yet another reason why the HAMB really is the place to get the "Gospel" for Hoodlums World Wide!

Hey Jay, glad to see you made it to the HAMB. It was cool talking hot rods AND old music equipment with you at dinner last week. See you soon.
