My Shoebox is now Red VLV Bound!!

    Ok Ive been Bustin my ass ofr a week now... inbetween Clients at the Barber
    Shop and late nites.. now I have to put it back togeather in 3 days to drive it to VLV!!! Anyideas what could use to scuff that red primer a lil? Its sherman Williams Red primer

  2. If you just want to scuff it, Scotch Brite would work. Gray or green, I would think, unless you really want to get aggressive (red).

    Man that looks pretty good. Did you have to tint the primer to get that color or was it ready to go outta the can?

    Its Sherman Williams automotive primer... It was a lil trickier then regular primer to shoot!!
     
  8. I like!!! Reminds me of when I stripped my '64 Catalina 'vert to bare metal and covered the primer with red laquer left satin since I wouldn't be getting to body work for a while. It was RED, but I think it looked pretty cool. I wouldn't change a thing about yours!!!

    ditch the scallop idea and paint the rims black, put the chroe on it and call er' done
