Maybe not so mutch but little more progress I have made a plate in the lower wheel house on passinger side like that one that cover the clutck pedal I seems that the should not have one plate there in the spare parts catalog The front parts is now little more toghter /Stefan
Thanks for the comment I have not posted anny pics from my shoebox build for a waile But have i some update of this thread I have a grill to shoebox from a 1949 to my 1950 I have bought it for some yers ago on ebay But the center part was from a 50 an i have a 49 holder but i have to the 50 style insted The spare catalog sayed 2 3/8" offset so i did one with that and used the front hole in splashplan insted of the inner hole that fit to the 49 holder The center part fitted on the holder Center part instaled on the car It was necary to make holes for the positions light from the 49 in the fenders I use a 1 1/2" green lee knock out punch Holes in the fenders now time for the screw holes to The positons lights holer in place This was the grill part for to day /Stefan
But i have little more to post after near 2 month I have let a frend print out some duckt flanges to the air cleaner They are 3d printed in black ABS and grinded and painted black so the dont look 3 printed out I have installed them in the ventlaion chanels in the innner fenders I cut up holes in the ventlation chanels so can get cold air tho the carb in top of the blower All for to day /Stefan
Thanks for the coment That was a wail since i posted some pics of my shoebox build But now have i done some more work on it I have a problem The ford 8" rear end is to wide to the rims and tyres i think to use I have bought some new shafts in type cut to fitt Here on toghter with the old shafts The rear end out of the car I will do a cut on the long side of the banjo I take of the brakets to the springs A stright cut and clean up the end from the old pipe The end is pressed in to the cut of the pipe The rear end is here weled and the brackets in place Painting is left Drive shafts is in for test after cuting The drive shafts bouth the original one and the old ones The rear end is narowed near 2½" (62mm not 63,5mm) The car is down on the floor aigin with Amercan racing torque thrust type D rims The rear rims are 8,5"/15" with 245/60 15 tyres and the front is 7"/15" with 215/65 15 A pic from rear /Stefan

Jag köpte drivaxlarna på summit racing Jag köpte även lager och plattor som håller fast axlarna och för säkerhets skull även nya ändar men dom behövde jag inte De är samma grejer till 9" med små lager och 28 spine så det var inget konstigt I bougt the drive shaft of summit racing I bought even berings and backing plates to hold the shafts and to be shore eve new ends but i don't used them That is same parts to 9" with small bearings and 28 spline shaft so it's nothing strange and i did't use google translate /Stefan

An update before i go on a summer holday trip I have begin to put on bondo on the roof And some other places to The roof was not perfect shape after loto of weldig and blasting so i have already used 4,5kg (10 pounds) of bondo /Stefan
I was a little surprised by the choice of wheels, as I was expecting something more `kustom` looking, but they actually look really fine.
Thanks for the coments That was a wail since i updated the thread The shoebox is out door on American racing Type D wheels I have worked a lott on the car this last weeks I have begin to flaten the roof with bondo and some more places on the car It was not easy to get good shape on the roof and i have only done the worst /Stefan
