I seen that the alu head shall have diffrent torquy settings than the cast heads Is there anny how knows how mutch is the right to my navarro heads? /Stefan
Looks great Stefan. I'm sure the Herman brothers will help you out: http://flatheads-forever.com/contact-us-specialmenu-127.html
Torque spec on aluminum heads is 40 lbs, Stefan.......don't overdo it......and there is an order to tightening them down......you start in the center and work your way out... There's diagrams in a lot of books on the order of tightening the head nuts... CB
I would trust anything Max or his brother says. They definitely know thier stuff. Max is crazy like you!
Thanks for all that like my shoebox build and flathead build too Little more parts on the blown ford flathead The blower is on for test The blower is a GMC 3-71 I must line up all the pullys so it will some shims and the crankshaft wheel shall i make little shorter /Stefan

Thank for the coment I have put in a extra wheel to get more angel around the crank pully So it will be better posibitys to drive the blower on the 8ba flathead a last pic before i disassemble some parts from the motor before painting it. /Stefan
The blower is approx 8% overdrive if i rember right The picture make the diffrece wrong so the blower pully is smaller than the crank pully
