Made my annual Saturday morning trip to the Shades show today. The weather was perfect, temp mid 70's, clear skies, low humidity, and good attendance. I think this is one of the best organized shows in the country, traffic flow into the grounds for participants is good especially if you come in on the back side of Sevierville and avoid Pigeon Forge traffic. Parking for spectators is free, admission is only $10, and there were at least 50 well maintained porta- johns. There were also a large number of vendors and a pretty decent swap meet, and if the on site food offerings and prices were not to your liking there were some new fast food places within walking distance just outside the entry gate. There were many cars there that I had not seen before and the "Top Twenty Five" were outstanding as usual. I hope everyone enjoys the pics, most are HAMB appropriate, some are borderline and some I included just because I was impressed with either the design or workmanship. Here's the first batch. More posted later, including my personal pick for best of show.
