I found this roadster in a local classifieds. I have done some research and found that it was out of Superior Nebraska. It ran under the Nebraska Hot Rod Racing Association sanctioning body. The class ran from 1948 to 1953 in Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas. This car started life as a 1938 Ford Standard Tudor Sedan. I plan on restoring it to its raced version. Here is what I have to work with at this point. The black and white shot is what the car looked like when it was raced. Theres also a shot of my buddy Roger Burnett (a human vintage racing encyclopedia) sitting in the car to give some size perspective. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad

SUBSCRIBED! When I saw your post about this car yesterday, I was hoping that you were going to restore it! I'm glad to see that you're diving in!
That car is fantastic! I really dig these old odd ball race cars. Did you get the hood and hood sides with it also? I'm impressed that you found an old picture of it.
No other parts than what is pictured. In the market for a front clip for it. Also eventually another 38 standard to tow it with. Wish i had the money for the one you have beaner. And yes, she was a dirt roundy round car.
