It's a old school, custom built, Hot Rod, done in the late 60's - early 70's an hidden in a barn, then sold at an estate sale. A Model T with a built 283/Powerglide, shag carpet and and 8 track player.

Most of all build what you want, do what you want, it's your car. My uncle has always said, "If you like it, I love it." Meaning doesn't matter if he likes it or not, because it isn't his car.

Man, that thing looks great. I love it and would drive just as is. Maybe even leave the old 283 and glide in it, lol.

Looks like fun! A real good safety check, build inspection and test drive and then enjoy. Safety for you and everyone around you is paramount at this time. Many happy miles to you!

Nice old bucket. Some front brakes would be a good idea.

Hey Guys, talking about brakes, do I have a '46 Ford front end?

Its hard to tell from the pictures, almost looks like a truck axle that has been set up with the transverse spring. A picture of just the front end will tell all.

looks cool. needs front brakes and a redo on the front spring mount. Looks like it is already starting to twist.

Trade that emblem in the middle of the radiator for some front brakes and you'll be all set!

    Do yourself a favor..
Get rid of that so called "air cleaner" asap..
They ALL deteriorate and /or catch fire..
I know it looks cool and is period correct for the build BUT..
Its just trouble waiting to happen !
    Way cool car !

It's a good looking car. I've seen it in Cartersville's cruise night a few months back. Glad to see a HAMBer got it.

    Congrats and Enjoy that bucket!

  27. Looks like a good start, I'd swap the front axle and put a buggy spring in the rear. swap out the wheels and tires and drive it.

Did it come from the Dahlonega area? I know a guy near a friends house has a really similar one.

whatever that axle is, it is parallel leaf, not yer standard Ford buggy spring axle.
