Zach, by the way, the car looks bloody amazing. Wanted to ask you - did you make the nose out of a stock A one?
Hey, great job. What a fun approach to it. Not flashy, not high dollar and I bet it's a blast to drive. This helps push me now, as I hit a bit of a lul on mine. Great work! More pics would be nice.
P.S. I see your the one hoarding all the early ford axles and rears http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=191067&d=1148581128
the nose is all aluminum...just hammered...the top half is 1100 SO and the sides are 3003 H-14 ...everything else is 3003 also...i just figured it would be faster to use that 1100 and let it work harden rather then anneal the 3003 over and over zach
The nose looks like you may have drawn some inspiration from the Miller track cars of the 30's. It's a cool car dude! Nice work.
Very Nice. The teaser shots of this over the last few months have been very frustrating! Good to see the whole thing now. Is this one getting the banger?
Dude - I love it. It looks like it came straight out of a black and white pic in the forties - one of my favorites! Mike
Wauuuuuuuu Now I'm even more P.O that I didn't make it to the Showdown. So I'll just enjoy the pics, and I certanly am. Fantastic build Klaus
Increadible, that thing is perfect. I see so many things I'd like to duplicate but I don't have the tallent. Awesome job.
man! im not into track nosed roadsters but yours may have changed my mind! im glad someone is out there who can do that. keep it up!
