its got a rebuilt motor, trans, new wiring loom, new brakes, rebuild suspension and brand new tires! i got this car for a steal of a deal.

im thinking about lowering it and driving it for the rest of the summer and maybe selling it early next year. theres some rust repair to do on the butt of the car, and a little bit under the passenger side windshield, but thats it. northern california all its life until now.

im egarly awaiting the return of my 50 buick back from its role in indiana jones 4 too.... should be sometime within the next couple of weeks that i can go see it again.

    what do you guys think?

LBX, it would be a crime to change, modify, or destroy that beautiful original Buick. I am a dyed in the wool hot rodder, but this has to be where to draw the line. Man, it's just PERFECT the way it sets, in all it's 58 years of glory.

    Absolutely gorgeous ride...but I'm kinda partial to 48 BOP's!

  12. i agree with you. it does have some rust issues that need to be addressed though. it needs a new trunk deck because someone decided it would be cool to shave off the emblem and latch/handle... idiots.

if i do lower it, i want to remove the original springs, and get re-engineered lowered coils so that once i get tired of scraping everywhere, i can set her back up.

im also thinking about throwing a fulton on it, and paint/patina to match.

i woudlent dare try anything fishy with this car, its such an amazing find and i wouldent want it to fuck it up, thats why i like 4 doors.

    Dual pipes ... especially if it's a 3 speed.
It really doesn't need any "accessories" as nice as it is.
