Got this survivor, original 51 Hudson Hornet a few weeks ago. Inspired by @squirrel and his recent Hudson adventure, I thought I'd post up some pictures of my find on here.....love her lines, I definitely feel the 4 door is the looker with these Hudson step downs.

  4. That's a "looker" alright! ;)

Did you get a few cans of Hudsonite as part of the deal?

This might be a dumb question, but did those have a "factory chop"?

Plan is to, clean and buff and keep it as is then drive, drive, drive! Debating whether to go wide white walls or keep the black walls.

I wonder how many Hudson's have been bought after/inspired by Squirrel's road trip.
I know my gears are turning......

I prefer the Club Coupes but that's just personal taste, you found a beautifully preserved example of a milestone car congrats.

When I sell my Mercury I might try to find a Hudson exactly like that.

Cool car.. When do you move in ???

  18. I bought a 35 ford pickup from Member Bill J Harris several years ago. There where several Hudsons at the place where I picked up the 35 ford. Don't know if they are still there. Bib Overalls might know?
