I have been talking to this guy for over 2 years abou this truck. now he is moving and has to let it go, so I'm gonna bring it home and hug it, and pet it and squeeze... sorry got off track, but get her cleaned up, it has a 350 outta 76 blazer, so new gas, plugs and such and she should be back among the living. not sure what direction I'm gonna go, but I know she's going lower and I really like hugger orange.

Hugger Orange? Are you out of your mind? I know guys who'd kill for patena like that! Drop it, change the wheels and tires, and drive the poop out of it. What a great find!

nice. rebuilt a cab (the part above the winshield and cab corners) for a customer a while back and fell in love with the '58 on front end, just the right amount of chrome and doesn't look like an after thought.

  10. So is it a 58 or a 59 ? I've owned each, nice trucks and I know where a 9 is that the guy is sitting on, maybe one day he'll budge like your guy.

this is a 59, you can tell by the 3 holes in the fender where the chrome used to be. They're forward, the 58 would have them further back.

also by the shape of the "unpatina'ed" areas where the chrome used tobe

  13. I used to own this truck (Devin's truck). I bought it from Devin years ago, sold it to my buddy Logan and he sold it back to Devin years later. I have always wanted another one and a 58-59 would be KILLER! Get her goin dude!

If you need an edelbrock performer intake for that small block, I've got one sitting in my attic that you can have.

Yep, very cool. I have a 58 and 59 so have a soft spot for those front ends. They do look very cool lowered. What is your plan to lower it since there are so many variations?

It isn't called "patina" up in this area it's called the old assed farm truck look and there are way too many trucks running around that have the same paint effects that were earned honestly for it to be anywhere near cool.

Not sure yet, the guy I got it from has done some work to it so I wanna get her home and see what I'm working with, I wanna do bigs and littles, with just a very slight rake.
But she'll never see a Mustang 2 while I own her!!!
