Greeting to all...... A picture of my new toy. www.abone.ca 4 banger stock inside they say. Question.... The engine runs real nice and legend has it that is was rebuilt not too many miles ago. No blowby at all and sounds nice and quiet. <GRIN>Got 52 chevy downdraft on it and a Holly electric fuel pump with the regulator set to 4 PSI. Has a Mallory distributer, 12 volt system and throws better that half an inch of spark. As I go through each gear it pulls strong to about the same point then starts crapping out... feels like the motor has a ways to go as far as breathing goes but just starts burbling. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on valve springs being an issue on these engines. Any and all opinions much apprciated. Regards, -Joemac
