Well I finally have some pictures and some progress to show on here. You can see how it looked when I got it. It was in really good shape to start out with. Its going on 32 rails and I wanted to start with the metal work on the body first, most everything so far has been done by Lux at Crushproof here in Austin, not too much to report but at least enough to start my thread.

The body is in really good shape, someone before me had started doing some of the body work already. I dont really know anything about the history of the car. Im going to be running a 327 , 5 speed and a 9 inch rear end, pretty basic.

Yeah, But we might have to bring some beer and leave it in the truck in case they run out... Encourage away! I've have a standing offer of beer in my fridge while I'm building and I do most work alone...

Man, another A in Austin?! They're takin' over the town! haha. Great looking start, man. Can't wait to see it tearing up Congress after the LSR. If I fit in an A, I'd probably sell my truck and a kidney and build one. Unfortunately, at 6'2" and 240, they're not really comfortable for me and any other human that wants to make a beer run to 7-11. I'll just sit back and enjoy everyone else's rides, green with envy.

Honestly that was a tough choice, I really like the look of some of the stockers I see on here, they do have class, but in the end I wanted a highboy style hot rod. Id like to get another car one day and leave it stock, esp after DW told me to watch the movie Millers Crossing, I love old gangster stuff.

I know of a couple cars even a large sized cracker such as Yoseff would fit in. Big Kevins is here in the shop now, and...well, if He and Reggie fit, I am sure You would too.

there's a formula for it...no channel, no package tray, realistic Chop.
You don't even need a shoehorn.

Heck, I fit in Kevins and don't even need a shoehorn to get into it.
