My Little Boy's Christmas present

    It's pretty much done. Still needs a cushion to sit on, will do that next week.
    More than an almost 2yr old needs i guess..

    Couple more of the frame.. we machined the axle, handle, spindles, and steering parts at the machine shop I work at. Talked a buddy of mine into painting it. He wants to go back and put some lace or flake or something more on the paint, but I had to have it by today. Still going to sew up some sort of interior to keep his fingers away from any moving parts, but it's done for the most part. Thanks for the compliments.

    Your Boy is a VERY lucky young man!!! If he isn't "grinning from ear to ear" and doin' BACK FLIPS of joy, I'd be surprised!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

    Who cares:( Some people can't resist throwing a monkey wrench into an otherwise cool thread. Besides I'm sure the kid will report back the first time he throws it into turn 1 going 200 MPH at Talladaga.
    Cool ride, and I'm sure it will encourage him to follow in his dad's footsteps.

    THATS BITCHEN!! Theres a car like that (the body at least) at a local antique mall, its A 3 wheel thing, is that how yours started?

    Very nice work!! He will enjoy it for sure, I know my kid loves ridig in the wagon I built him. You will get more attention at shows than any car there so be prepared to chat with everyone!! Heres a couple of pics of my kids "hot rod".
