My Lastest Wild Adventures

Well guys, finally convinced SamIam that is was safe to leave me alone in the house with not only Mrs SamIam but the computer as well. Thought I fill you all in on the lastest happenings before I start surfing for porn. Man, it's been awhile

A couple of weeks ago I finally got the opportunity to ditch the lovely metropolis of Omaha and hitched a ride WEST with BobK in his Chevy, heading for B'ville. A few other guys were along including PurplePickUp, Slocrow, OhioBlueTip, and CharlieChop 1940. We had a blast when we stopped in ColoRODo Springs and hooked up with s few of the local HAMBers for a couple of beers.



Even got to see a few titties when the waitress took me in the back room for a bit.

On to Blanding, UT where we hooked up with 1FATGMC, HotRodLadyCrusr, Beatnik, River1 and a few other non-HAMBers for a couple of days of siteseeing. 1FATGMC owns the local trading post called Purple Sage . I did a little looking around hoping I might find something to send back to the misses. Think she misses me?



Thought I might find something for myself as well but this was the only item I found that fit right. IS it too gay looking??



The twins , BobK and River1 helped me pick it out. would they know gay if they saw it?



The next morning we were off to do some hiking to some Indian ruins. HotRodLadyCrusr was not a happy camper getting up soooo early in the AM but did state it was well worth the effort. Some of the crew that went hiking with me. Of course I'm the one behind the camera.







I did find a spot to rest my tired bones for awhile



After a nite of rest we left the next morning for Bo Huff's place stopping along the way for breakie.



Bo Huff's was the coolest place. Here's me with some of my cousins.

We got to B'ville and now I'm living large. HAMB folks, race cars, Bend in the Road party, pits, donuts, you name it, I experienced it.

Finally got the opportunity for some touching by soft hands when I got handed off to HotRodLadyCrusr while on the salt.



Did alot of cruzn around on the salt in Big Olds. Sure wish I would have taken her up on her offer to rub sunscreen all over my head. I wasn't thinking straight, too much sun perhaps??



She took me out to the starting line, what a rush!



I even got to lend my expertise to Gene's team when they swapped the motor out.



Tons-o-fun was had on the salt but it was time to head out. Hopped in Big Olds with HRLC and Beatnik and headed toward the Grand Canyon. We get to Salt Lake City and Denise decides since Big Olds has over 3,000 miles since they left home that it was time for an oil change. Pull in for a quickie and get this, 3 guys look Big Olds over and while pointing at the white stuff ask "what's this stuff". Denise about chokes. She looks the big guy straight in the eye and says "you live in Salt Lake City and you don't know what this is?" he shrugs his shoulders. With a shake of her head she had to fill them in. At that point I decided I'd better do the oil change. The not to bright bunch, with the exception of me and HRLC.



arrived in AZ later that nite without much fanfair.



The next morning we got up early and headed to the north rim of the Grand Canyon.



The view from the north rim was AWESOME



After a bit of hiking around in this area it was off to the south rim, or so we thought. Long story short, Big Olds' rear axle bearing decided this was a good time to need replacement. Got towed into Flagstaff and found a shop that would get right on the job since the orginal shop we got towed to wouldn't let me and Beatnik do or help with the job.



Got both bearings and seals replaced with the help of my new best friend Robert and in no time was back on the road.

How in the hell did you get out Mr.Bones??? I'm thinking you woo'ed the ol' lady and she let you out... anyway, it's nice to see some of the stuff you did on your trip... before you started hanging out with me and the BFD crew... hopefully I'll find time to post some pics of our time together... and then it's off to a new caretaker at Billetproof... (I'm sure I could fine someone that will put up with your crap there)

Anyway, do have any links to any of your posts on the RRT??

Also, I wanted to remind you to stay the hell out of my beer fridge out in the garage... just wait until I get home... OK???

Too late dude!

As far as the RRT, I have never made an appearance there. Think they could handle my sense of humor?? I did have a great time partying with lots of them on my travels but I'm the HAMB mascott and I think I'll hang around here for a bit more before I try the rest of the hot rod sites.
