Looks ok I guess... Seriously, that is killer! It's nice to be able to accomplish things for yourself like that and not have to rely on someone else.

Wow, thats what i would like to have on my lowrider project, but because i cant do it
and would cost me about 8/900 bucks at my local shop i decided i will go angel hair
until i can pay for it (pretty long time probably :D).
Now, i'd like to know what "tools" i need to do such a job and what material swits best,
im pretty handy and can learn pretty much anything. You convinced me i can.
Plus i'd like to say that nobody but me built my car.
Beautiful btw, hope i'll manage half of your quality.

Nice work Man, I'd say you nailed it! Did you use the old liner as a pattern, otherwise I don't know you could have put that one together. You should have no problem finding plenty of jobs to keep you busy. Good luck in building a business.

  22. That's really beautiful, got any pictures of you in action or the machine you used? I think a lot of use could learn a few things from you.

  26. What he is not telling everyone is all the "FUN" it is to manage that much material thru the machine at the same time..and keep the stitching straight...Looks good !!!!

Thats the whole reason i wanted to learn. I had the interior done in my plymouth and was thinking it would be nice to be able to do it myself. So i baught a machine from the guy that did my interior two weeks later and un loaded it in my garage and started pulling my friends 53 chevy truck seat apart that same day. This was the first thing i had ever tryed sewing. Ive used a sewing machine before like in middle school, but i say them homeech machines are a little diffrent. I dont think i have done anything for myself yet.

I did end up using the old headliner for a pattern. The back part had to be changed cause of the chop on the car. As of right now i am keeping pretty busy, someday all do something for myself.

No i have no pictures of me in action. I use a singer 111 w 155 i believe.

    Thanks man, whenever.

some years back when i had the interior put in chubbie, I told her what i wanted. She told me she wouldn't do it, because it would look like it came out of the "50s!!! so we compromised. so its close to original. I do like it, but she told me it's the ugliest interior she'd ever done!
so the model A I did my self, to get what i wanted!!!! I told her where I wanted it sewen and did the rest myself!!!!

Great job, looks great! It was once said " I just love the feel of tuck and roll!" "now peel out!"
