Last Monday I started chopping Omar's car and today I'm ready to share what i did. I am not finished but pretty damn close. The doo door tops are not done yet as were waiting on the stock bolts for the hinges and the doors need to be aligned first, there were some Mickey Mouse bolts that stuck out and they actually bent the front of the doors. I spent countless hours studying other guy's threads to get a good idea of what i was up against!!
Omar wanted a more pronounced chop so we agreed on 6 1/2" on the a pillars and i have no idea how much we have in the back but i cut until it looked good!! The B pillars were definitely trial and error but im happy on how they came out......Anyways here's some pics!!

I used some home made stuff , my shot bag and my english wheel to roll the sail panels.

Very impressive. I have chopped a few cars including mercs. And have just picked up a 51 club coupe. I will not be cutting it, but if I did I would surely follow your lead. GREAT JOB...John

my personal taste is a bit less chop, but you got that one flowing just right. I think maybe when people get that much chop they end up flattening the roof... I like the curve you got going there. looks good.
