    Here is my first fender:

It began with a dual wheel trailer fender that was cut and stretched. RichardD was kind enough to loan me his Eastwood Shrinker/Stretcher set and it was a dream to use. The rolled edge in the center is better than it looks. It is a wierd reflection but there is some distortion in the flat section due to me using heat to bend the roll. I am not happy with the result so I will do it cold next time.

  2. Hey Neil, glad I could help. It's cool that you are preserving a piece of history. Keep up the good work.

    nice work!
I made a skid plate for a jeep gas tank and it looks like a complete butcher job
but I gained alot of experience from making something that i could have just ordered and bolted together
it's good to push your limits

I did learn a lot from this project. Now I have some confidence to tackle the front fender using the English wheel. It is a compound curve rather than a flat one.
